Hello All,

My name is Steve Cardwell and I'm going to be helping out Coach Jordan, Coach Adrienne, and Coach Melissa this year with Midtown Swim.

Some of you have had your athlete graduate.  I apologize as I couldn't filter you out!  You can ignore the rest.

For the rest of you, we hope you will come out again to swim and that the parents will volunteer!

We have some new things that need to get done this year and some new athlete compliance things as well.  The attached document has the details on what you need to do.  Here's a preview, but all the details are in the document:

1. Use the QR code to fill out information on the athlete and parents.  This is how we will get information to you right now.  QR code in attachment.
2. You need to sign up for DragonFly and get your athlete(s) physical(s) and waivers updated.  No exceptions this year.  Can't get in the pool or tryout without it.  Link in attachment.
3. You need to register for TeamSnap.  We will use TeamSnap to bill you for dues and to communicate.  Link in the attachment
4. Download TeamSnap for your phone and turn on notifications.  That is the tool we will use to communicate.  Make sure your athlete does it too.

We will use Swimtopia this season, but only for swim team management tasks - declaring for meets (super important), meet entries, swim times, records, information, etc.  So this will be the last email message from Swimtopia for the season as all communications will come from TeamSnap.

These new rules and steps will help us be in compliance with APS and GHSA and are very important to the new Athletic Director.
